Accessibility statement

The Student Government of Wrocław University of Economics and Business is committed to the digital accessibility of this site in line with the Polish Digital Accessibility Act of 4 April 2019.

The site is designed to WCAG 2.1 level AA, and in many places AAA: sufficient contrast, visible focus, full keyboard support, semantic headings, text alternatives and respect for reduced-motion preferences.

Statement prepared on: 26 June 2026. Last reviewed: 30 July 2026. Method: self-assessment by the public body, supported by an automated tool (axe-core) and a code review.

Conformance status

The site is partially conformant with the Digital Accessibility Act - it meets WCAG 2.1 level AA within the scope covered by the audit carried out. The audit of 30 July 2026 combined automated testing (45/45 axe-core scans, zero violations) with a code review (contrast, keyboard operation and focus, semantics, forms, touch targets ≥ 44 px); every issue found was fixed. Exclusions - elements not yet verified: (1) how the site is experienced through a screen reader (an NVDA/VoiceOver session is planned - automated tests and code review do not replace it), (2) the accessibility of PDF documents and photo alt texts that will be published on the site in future. Each of these will undergo a separate accessibility review, and this statement will be updated accordingly.

Keyboard support & aids

You can navigate the site with the keyboard (Tab / Shift+Tab, Enter, Esc). A “skip to content” link, clearly visible focus and a search opened with Ctrl/⌘ + K are available. The site respects the system reduced-motion setting (prefers-reduced-motion) and works in light and dark mode.

Feedback and complaints procedure

Anyone has the right to request that the website or an element of it be made accessible. Send your request to kontakt@samorzad.ue.wroc.pl, indicating the page concerned and a convenient form of contact. If accessibility cannot be ensured, we will propose alternative access. If a request is refused, you may file a complaint with the supervising authority and a petition to the Ombudsman.
