Our projects

An eight-day camp for first-years in the last free days before the academic year starts. It begins on Sunday morning on campus with a welcome and a field game, and then you all leave Wrocław together. Pool parties and field games await, every evening ends with a themed party, and at the end we reward the winning groups. So on your first day of classes you don't walk onto campus as a stranger.

Two days of talks and training for first-years. On day one you learn, among other things, how a test differs from an exam, what the academic quarter is and what the Dean does. On day two we walk around campus together and show you the key places. Part-time students have online sessions. After each day you can meet others at the afterparty at Zaprzegubie or at UE Party.

A series of parties for students of Wroclaw University of Economics and Business and the whole student community of Wrocław. A regular break from classes and exams, and during the Adaptation Days one of the places where first-years get to know each other.

A charity project raising money to save endangered species. Each year we choose one animal from those cared for by the DODO Foundation at Wrocław ZOO, and the money raised goes to it. The first day takes place at the ZOO, with stations of games, puzzles and face painting for children. The second is an evening for students with a concert, dance workshops and an auction of vouchers and gadgets.

An evening the Student Government organises for students, staff, alumni and friends of the University, attended by the University Authorities. It opens with an official welcome and dinner, followed by dance and acrobatics shows, performances and a photo wall. The “Ekonomki” statuettes go to lecturers nominated by students, and at the end we choose the King and Queen of the night.

Wrocław Juwenalia are organised jointly by the student governments of Wrocław's universities, including ours. Every year they draw thousands of students and local residents. The highlight is two days of concerts at Pola Osobowickie with the biggest Polish artists, and next to the stage there is a zone with attractions, food, a chill-out area and an electronic stage.

An exchange between students of five partner universities of economics in Poland. It was started in 2005 by the student governments of SGH Warsaw School of Economics and Wroclaw University of Economics and Business. For four days you take part in talks, workshops and a field game and see up close what studying in another city is like. Evenings are for socialising, and in Wrocław a party on a boat is a fixed part of the programme.

A competition modelled on Polish Television's Great Test, co-run by the student governments of five universities of economics together with the Forum of Economic Universities. The regional round takes place on the same day in all five cities: about 100 people at each university answer economics questions in an app, with a coffee break halfway through. The top five from each city go on to the national final, held in a different partner city each year.

A local stage in the TEDx format: independent events held around the world around ideas worth spreading. Speakers who live their passion have a few minutes to plant an idea in you through a story. Between talks there are workshops with partner companies, and in the evening a Cocktail Party where you can talk to the speakers.
