Deadlines that change the decision

Four clocks after the session

  1. 3 daysto give the examiner the reason for an absence after that reason ends
  2. 2 daysworking days to apply for a committee assessment or exam
  3. 7 daysafter the resit session to verify final grades in USOS
  4. 10 daysafter the resit session to request conditional progression or repetition

What has just happened to you?

Choose your situation to see the deadline, the next step and the basis in the Regulations. The Dean always makes the decision in your case.

Deadlines run from specific events, not from the day you open this page. For urgent matters, verify the date the grade was announced or the session ended.

§ 31 · Infopack · pp. 8

7 days to verify

Teacher first; after three working days, the Dean’s Office

You must verify final grades within 7 days after the resit session. Report a missing or inconsistent grade immediately to the teacher, who has up to 3 working days to correct it.

A missing entry is not the same as a failing grade - start the correction procedure first.

What to do now

  1. 1

Take a screenshot of the grade or empty field and record the date.

  2. 2

Write to the teacher with the course, group and correct grade.

  3. 3

If there is no entry or correction after 3 working days, notify the Dean’s Office.

Before you continue

  • You are checking the final course grade, not only a component.
  • You have proof that the first report was sent.
  • Do not request conditional progression until every grade is entered in USOS.

Section 27 simulator

See how the final course grade is formed

When a course has a lecture or exam, that grade accounts for 50%, while the other components share the remaining 50%. Without a lecture, all components carry equal weight.

The simulator reflects the general rule in the Regulations. The course programme and correctly entered component grades remain the data source.
