Student Electoral Committee
Runs the elections in which students vote: to the University Student Government Council, the Senate and the University's Electoral College, as well as elections to positions in the Student Government.
Independent of the candidates
The Committee has three members elected for one year. They cannot sit at the same time on the Board, the University Student Government Council, the Audit Committee or the peer courts. Anyone who wants to stand in an election must first resign from the Committee.
- Setting the detailed electoral calendar and making it public - no later than 14 days before the elections.
- Preparing the lists of voters entitled to vote.
- Organising electoral meetings and running them smoothly.
- Ensuring the electoral procedures run correctly.
- Safeguarding the electoral documentation.
- Organising by-elections when needed.
